Why I Started My Blog
Another Blaugust prompt question answered! It will be a shorter entry because I think my reasons are simple. Is it obvious that I’m having a good time with the writing prompts this week? Now I’m anticipating week #3 coming up!
- Tell the story behind the creation and name of your blog.
I think I’ve explained a bit before, I was reading other people’s blogs for a long while before I made my own. I wish I bookmarked the entry that finally motivated me to create an account on Bear.
Originally, my plan was to only talk about my artistic process/work flow. I was terrified of sharing more of my life. Or anything that wasn’t related to art in some way. I didn’t think other thoughts or experiences would matter as much. Those thoughts quickly left my head when I realized I didn’t want to narrow myself down to a single interest.
What made me decide on this username? Well, I loooove wearing sweaters in the Autumn and Winter months. Sweaters and blankets are some cozy items that make me feel safe. Pockets are cute on clothes, the word is cute… you get it. So I wanted my online presence to have a soft, comfy feeling to it. I’m quite happy with my choice right now! That’s what matters most.
