What’s Next?

Here is another update on Cara from Jingna Zhang. This is important to read if you aren’t aware of what happened.

I can’t get motivated to draw for myself during this issue. I’m tired of having to discuss about AI. So that’s not what my entry will be about, I promise. I would much rather be sharing my art.. but instead I’m ranting.

It was only until more recently when I was inspired to start. People I know in real life believe in me. They hope I do get far as an artist. They want me to be known and appreciated. Their kind words are what I’m holding on to in this rough time.

I’m in no rush to get started, this is still only a hobby at the moment. I’d like to work part-time locally first anyway..maybe. Right now I’m observing different art communities. I can’t stay up to date with what’s going on if I’m not following artists online. I can’t keep to myself in a bubble any longer.

I will try to do what I can, but it’s not easy to spread the word when my account is quite new. Nobody on Cara knows me, they haven’t seen my work yet. I don’t know when I’ll feel better about making myself more public.

I tried to download Glaze and Nightshade on my laptop the other day. Neither was able to be opened. I’ll have to try again on my desktop computer to see if that makes a difference. If anyone has any experience with using these tools for their art, please send me an email at sweaterpockets@tutamail.com

Like many others, I’m lost on what to do. I don’t want to disappear before having a chance to try posting. Everything about what I’ve learned about on Cara is deeply upsetting. I know nothing will change overnight, but it has to get better…right?
