Being A Matcha Enjoyer
I’ve tried various types of drinks and have come to adore the flavoring matcha brings. You know smoothies, lattes, etc. I haven’t been interested in coffee. Tea and hot chocolate are my favorites. I’ve heard matcha has many health benefits if drunk in moderation. I try not to have any when I wake up anxious because it’s not caffeine free, apparently.
I don’t really drink anything else besides water or vitamin water. I know, I’m a simple person. So when I have any matcha beverage, it’s a nice change. My way of making it, hot or cold, is simple. I use almond milk, the matcha powder, then a couple pumps of liquid sugar-free sweetener flavors. For when I want a warm cup, everything is the same except I heat it up in the microwave.
Nothing can compete with a hot matcha on a chilly morning. I’m looking forward to doing that again! I’ve referred to the coziness as “my tummy receiving a warm hug.” While a cold drink on a hot summer morning is refreshing in it’s own way. The drink is delicious no matter what. It’s quite versatile now that I’m thinking about it.
